"Caught In Clapper"

Each Video Tape starts with a Slate.

Then we put on Color Bars

And a Count-down

Finally we use an Opening Video,

      Caught In The Clapper abbreviated "CIC", is a 30-minute cable Television Program.

     This is the first of a series of 7 shows, on Independent Films, and the Directors & Producers who make those films.

     Janice Pruitt is the host for our first show.   She introduces the film

     Then we show the actual film, 

then we show a video interview the Producer or Director,

  

and then we call them on the phone, 

for a follow up to the last time we talked with them.  

Then we close the Program.

     We want to follow the careers, successes, and struggles of up-and-coming Film-Makers of the Future.

WHERE: Atlanta Georgia, Fulton County only, on Comcast Video Cable Television Distribution, channel 24, People-TV

WHEN: May 16th, 2003 at 10:30 PM, and every Friday night after, is either a repeat, or a new show.

WHY: With the advent of Mini-DV cameras, and a strong local community of filmmakers, Atlanta Georgia is poised at the beginning of "A Movie making explosion". The movie industry is about to explode, and young, fresh, energetic filmmakers are going to compete with the giants of movie making.

     You should watch this program because we intend to seek out and follow this trend, and bring it to the Atlanta Georgia viewing area, then we will take it to the rest of the world over the internet. Visit www.mpvp.tv for more information.

     Our first Program is about Robert Welkner and his Independent Film called "Pennyman". While his movie was shot on 35 mm film, he has a DVD out now, and Mini-DV and VHS tapes are in the works.

     Janice Pruitt is the host for our first program, and she will guide you through the ins and outs of Film and Video Movie making. She's really good, you will want to catch this young fresh talent.

     Included in our program is the Music of PDC "Perfect Day Coming" a local Atlanta Music Band. The Band members are Craig Cross, Darryl Gray, Preston Butler, and Davy Collins

     Our next program will feature local filmmakers and their movies. Stay tuned for more information later.
